Shipping Policy
We are a stockist of fabrics, meaning everything you see on our website is held in stock and ready to be cut and sent straight to you, your upholsterer, or curtain maker. We endeavour to despatch all orders the following working day to an order being placed. Listed below is information regarding our shipping methods, times and prices. If you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to email us. We will be happy to help with any query regarding the delivery of your fabrics and supplies. We have many years experience sending fabric rolls and are consistently looking for the best shipping rates and services to send parcels to our customers. As the majority of the parcels we send are over 1.2 metres in length, we are charged a higher delivery rate by the couriers. We try our best to keep our prices competitive and shipping costs for customers to a minimum. Unfortunately rolled fabric creates abnormal parcel sizes, this limits our options. To protect both you and us from the fraudulent use of credit and debit cards we reserve the right to check the validity of the payment card used and deliver to the official billing address.

DISCLAIMER:
Please note this is a signed for service. If you request for your order to be left in a safe place, or request a specific time, this is at your own risk but also at the discretion of the courier who are not the-millshop-online employees.
Delivery Timescales - 3-4 working days (excluding the festive period) after ordering (never 100% guaranteed and delays with the courier are out of our control, eg: weather or breakdowns). If you are in a rush for your fabric or supplies, please give us a call and we can see if it is possible to speed up the shipment of your order.
Orders under 5 metres will be folded, any amount over 5 metres will be rolled onto a pole. Therefore 5 metres and over will be classed as large parcel by any courier.
International Customers
PLEASE BE AWARE DUE TO BREXIT EUROPEAN COUNTRIES WILL NOW BE SUBJECT TO THEIR OWN COUNTRIES DUTIES AND TAXES WHEN PURCHASING FROM US.

Delivery Costs
If you are unsure how much your parcel will weigh, the easiest thing to do is to add what you would like to order to your shopping basket and on the shopping basket page there is a section where you can put in your country and your postcode and it provides an exact quote.
All couriers request a telephone number in case they have difficulty locating your address. NO ONE will contact you for any other reason. We DO NOT pass ANY of your details to anyone else.
All deliveries will require a signature by an adult over 18 years of age.

Velvet Fabric
Due to the nature of velvet with its raised pile it cannot be folded. All velvet orders will be dispatched rolled to maintain the quality of the product and will fall within the large parcel bracket of £5.95 carriage for mainland UK deliveries.
Packaging
At DAGE-ONLINE we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition that it left us. We only use good quality new materials for packaging and take great care to ensure the goods are packaged well.
In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged please be sure to sign for it as ‘damaged’ or refuse the delivery specifying `damaged’ and email us immediately. The signature must be by an adult over 18.
Receiving Your Fabrics
When you receive your fabric in ‘undamaged’ packaging, we suggest that you unwrap it immediately. Please inspect your goods very carefully. If you are using a third party or making yourself, please make sure that you are satisfied before the fabric is cut.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that you receive the goods in the best condition, in the unlikely event that you receive faulty goods, please email us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) and we will replace free of charge. Please note that no refund can be given once fabric has been cut, treated or altered in any way.
Privacy
Your details will only be used if the courier needs to contact you regarding delivery or to invite you to review our services on an independent review site. Apart from this, your contact details will not be passed on to any other companies for any other reasons and you will not receive marketing emails from us unless you sign up to our newsletter.
Return Policy
Our aim is to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase from us. Please email us within 7 days of delivery if you are not happy. Sorry, but we are unable to give a refund if the items have been cut to your specifications but are happy to offer an exchange of fabric, as defined by the distance-selling act. Please ask for a fabric sample before you place an order to satisfy yourself that it is the correct fabric, colour, tone, weave and finish. If you do not order a fabric sample prior to the purchase, we cannot be held responsible for any variance in the fabric. Please be aware that colour representation of the fabrics on screen can be affected by many variables and may show up differently on your devices.
How to Return Goods
